Share first-hand information
Post places you have visited. Use original photos you can legally publish and describe access, transport, parking, timing, difficulty and safety honestly. Correct or report information that has changed.
Respect access and communities
Never encourage trespass, bypassing locks or security, dangerous shortcuts or disruption to residents. Follow signs, permissions, opening hours and local instructions. Do not present private property as a public attraction.
Protect nature and sensitive locations
Do not expose nests, protected species, fragile habitats or locations likely to be damaged by increased traffic. Mark a contribution as sensitive when exact coordinates could create risk. Moderators may approximate or remove coordinates.
Explain real risks
Describe exposed edges, difficult terrain, water, weather, tide, signal limitations, accessibility barriers, seasonal closures and other hazards. Do not glamorise unsafe behaviour for content.
Protect privacy and rights
Do not share personal information, faces without required permission, vehicle plates, private interiors or copyrighted material you cannot publish. Clearly disclose commercial relationships and do not spam.
Not allowed
- Hate, harassment, threats, sexual exploitation or violence.
- Illegal access, vandalism, theft, fraud or instructions that facilitate harm.
- False reviews, duplicate spam, manipulated verification or impersonation.
- Malware, scraping, automated abuse or attempts to identify sensitive coordinates.
Reporting and enforcement
Use the report control on a place for incorrect access, safety problems or prohibited content. We may request evidence, reject or remove content, reduce coordinate precision, limit features or suspend accounts. For urgent danger, leave the area and contact local emergency services.
